1.1.     These terms and conditions apply to the  REBOUND Challenge Promotion (the “Promotion”). By participating in the Promotion you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

1.2.     The Promotion is organized by Shimano Europe B.V. (“Shimano”), High Tech Campus 92, 5656 AG Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The Promotion is organized in accordance with the Code of Conduct for Promotional Games of Chance 2014 (Gedragscode Promotionele Kansspelen 2014). Dutch law is applicable on these terms and conditions. 

1.3.     There is no entry fee required to enter the Promotion.

1.4.     These terms and conditions and all other information regarding the Promotion are available on www.shimano-challenge.com

2.1.     The promotion is open to persons aged 18 years old. Employees of Shimano and its affiliated companies and the immediate family members (spouse, children) and any person directly or indirectly involved in the development or administration of the Promotion, are not eligible to participate or win.

2.2.     Participation attempts from residents of any other countries will not be accepted.

2.3.     The registration period is open between: 1st of May 2023 and June 4th, 2023 Registrations received outside this time frame will be excluded from the Promotion. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

3.1.     Shimano will randomly select the winners out of all participants who completed the requirements of the Shimano Strava challenge and entered the competition via the form available on: www.shimano-challenge.com.

3.2.     The random selection of the winners will take place within one week after the complet. The winner will be notified by email in the same week.

3.3.     If a winner does not confirm acceptance of the prize within 7 days after being contacted by Shimano, the winner is deemed to have rejected the prize and shall no longer be eligible to receive the prize. Shimano shall be entitled to select a new winner.

3.4.     Shimano reserves the right to withhold one or more prizes if, in accordance with the conditions in paragraph 3, no winner can be appointed within one month after the end date of the promotion.

4.2.     All prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or other prizes.  

4.3.     The prize winner shall be responsible for paying taxes, if any.

5.1.     Any personal information that participants provide in connection with the Promotion shall be used by Shimano, to administer this Competition, contact participants, and for the other purposes set forth in Shimano’s privacy policy located at http://www.shimano.com/en/privacypolicy.html. By entering this Promotion, you agree to and accept that privacy policy.    

5.2.     Participants accept that Shimano will verify with Strava whether they fulfilled the requirements of the Promotion.

6.1.     Shimano does not accept any liability regarding any damages, of any kind, arising out or related to (participation in) the Promotion.

6.2.     In case of any situation of force majeure Shimano reserves the right to withhold the prizes. Shimano is not obliged to hand out an alternative prize.

6.3.     Unless the contexts otherwise demands, words importing any gender shall be interpreted to mean any or all genders.

6.4.     Contact details submitted by the participants in order to register for the Promotion will only be used in relation to the Promotion.
